This year’s NBA Rookie of the Year Karl-Anthony Towns first made it to the list. He was followed by Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond and Oklahoma City Thunder power forward Kevin Durant.

NBA 2K, this year, features Indiana Pacers star Paul George on the cover. As a huge fan of the game himself, George could not be thankful enough for gracing the 2K17 standard edition. He was joined by his idol Kobe Bryant as a cover star. The Black Mamba landed on the special legend edition.

2K.com unveiled the additions to Kobe Bryant legend edition gold. The gold will have 40,000 more virtual currency than the legend edition alone. One the digital side, it includes 24 pairs of Nike Kobe Shoe collection and MyTeam Gold Bundle with two extra packs. A lenticular cover insert will be the physical item included on the extra.

Besides the new addition to the Team 2K lineup, the inclusions for Early Tip-off weekend were also announced. It includes 5,0000 Virtual Currency and MyTeam Bundle.

It is indeed an honor for the 2011 No. 30 overall pick to be on the cover of the 18th installment of the video game franchise. CSN Chicago notes that Jimmy Butler will enter his sixth NBA season this fall. He averaged 20.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1.6 steals this season.

Meanwhile, two mystery players are still waiting to be announced for the Team 2K. There are guesses from fans that the remaining two are Orlando Magic’s Aaron Gordon, and Minnesota Timberwolves’ Zach LaVine. “NBA 2K17” is scheduled for release on Sept. 20 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
