NBA 2K17 Gives Players A Total New Game Experience

NBA 2K franchise fans will soon experience a new game with the release of NBA 2K17. However, the standard edition is not just going to focus on Paul George. The cover will also have Kevin Durant, Andre Drummond, Jimmy Butler and Karl-Anthony Towns. The official "NBA 2K17" Twitter account also reveals that Kyrie Irving has been added to the standard edition cover as well. A seventh and final cover star has yet to be revealed. 

According to Movie News Guide, the promotional posters and art for the game also seem to suggest that "NBA 2K17" will also have a Summer Olympics game mode, due to the images showcasing Paul George in the Olympics uniform. However, 2K Games have yet to confirm if this game mode is truly making it into the final build of the game. NBA 2K17 Sports has confirmed that the game will be released on Sept. 20 of this year for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC players.

It was previously revealed that Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant will be on the cover of the Legend Edition. Recently, Indiana Pacers small forward Paul George was named as the cover for the game's standard edition. For those interested in pre-ordering NBA 2K17, not the Legend Edition, that is a possibility. For the pre-order, the buyer can get some free extras like a MyTeam Bundle with 3 packs of digital cards. One of these cards is a guaranteed to be Paul George.

In addition to that, there will be 5,000 in Virtual Currency to use in the game. The release date and availability between regions may differ due to time zones and varying platforms. Still the best and fastest way to order the game will be through Amazon if you want to get it ASAP. Oklahoma City Thunder's Russel Westbrook, Minnesota Timberwolves' Zach LaVine, and Orlando Magic's Aaron Gordon are four potential inclusions for the said roster. However, only one among them shall complete the lineup.

Previously, Irving is revealed as the sixth member of the "NBA 2K17" roster. On June 9, the people behind "NBA 2K17" tweeted a photo of the lineup, which features Irving, Oklahoma City Thunder power forward/ small forward Kevin Durant, Indiana Pacers' shooting guard/small forward Paul George, Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond, Chicago Bulls shooting guard/small forward Jimmy Butler, and Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns.

According to Forbes, three variants of the game will be available, the previously mentioned Kobe Bryant Legends Edition, Gold Edition also featuring Bryant, and a Standard Edition featuring Paul George. Those who pre-order the Standard Edition will also get 5,000 Virtual Currency, a MyTEAM bundle guaranteed to include a George Free Agent card and many others.

The September 20, 2016, NBA 2K17 release date is for Playstation 4 and XBOX One platforms. The PC version of the game is still unconfirmed but will definitely follow suit. Gotta Be Mobile states that it is available at NBA 2K17, Amazon, Best Buy and pretty much any other retailer of video games. What is interesting is that the NBA 2K17 game will be available on the PS3 and Xbox 360 as well as the current generation of PS4 and Xbox One. You should be able to purchase it for the usual new game price of $59.99.
